You can admire its intricate patterns for hours, penetrating deep into the centuries. It is a Roman Catholic church dedicated to St. Nicholas. Since 1980, the House of Chamber and Organ Music has been housed in its building.

Its formal name is Parkovy, but the people still use the names «Bridge of Lovers», «Kissing Bridge», «Devil's Bridge», «Small Paton Bridge». Each of them has its own background.
At the beginning of the 20th century, the Bridge of lovers in Kiev was the only way connecting the lower Dnieper slopes and the center. It was necessary to cross it in any weather and time of day. During a strong wind, the structure swayed, which inspired fear among pedestrians. So the name «Devil's Bridg» arose.
But it was called «kiss» relatively recently - with the advent of the tradition of fastening locks on the railing, as a symbol of the durability of feelings of couples in love.
The bridge, where they declare their love, today the bridge of lovers in Kiev is a romantic place where couples leave all kinds of signs to remember their love: locks, ribbons, inscriptions. The railing of the bridge is full of confessions, memorable dates, poems. Newlyweds traditionally make beautiful photo shoots here.
