The construction was erected in the 11th century in the central part of the capital by decree of Yaroslav the Wise. Later, the cathedral was rebuilt and gave it elements of the architectural style of Ukrainian Baroque. Visiting the temple, you will see a large number of ancient frescoes, unique mosaic images, including the legendary mosaic called Our Lady of Orant.
